EVN Macedonia and the Engineering Institution of Macedonia signed a Strategic Partnership Agreement, laying the first foundations for cooperation aimed at facilitating and promoting engineering research and initiatives, innovations, sustainable projects, as well as supporting the development of engineering solutions that are aligned with national and international standards.
The scope of this cooperation also includes the exchange of experiences, scholarships and professional development through internships and employment opportunities for students and young engineers.
The signing ceremony was attended by the Management Board of EVN Macedonia and the leading people of the Engineering Institution of Macedonia.
"This strategic partnership will promote the exchange of knowledge and expertise, as well as the shaping of the future of energy in the country." noted the CEO of EVN Macedonia, Mr. Wolfgang Maier.
"Signing this contract is a step forward towards achieving our long-term goals and commitment to innovation and sustainable development, as well as popularizing the engineering profession in Macedonia." said the President of the Engineering Institution of Macedonia, Mr. Andrej Lepavcov.
With the signing of this agreement, EVN Macedonia officially became a partner of an engineering institution, whose history dates back to 1920 when it was established in Skopje.
