EVN Macedonia donates 200,000 euros to the Ministry of Health for procurement of medical equipment and materials for the needs of the public health system for dealing with Covid 19. In addition to this financial support, EVN has contributed to the establishment of the mobile (Polish) hospital within the Clinical Center in Skopje, donating the electricity connection worth 10,000 euros.
„In conditions of global health crisis, we have decided to strengthen regular support, with an additional donation to the Macedonian healthcare system. In these emergency conditions, a joint coordinated action is needed, which makes it easier to deal with the health and economic consequences caused by the spread of the Covid-19 virus. As a constructive partner of the society, we will continue to try to actively help" said Stefan Peter, Chairman of the Management Board of EVN Macedonia.
Six months ago, EVN already donated to the Ministry of Health air purifiers with a capacity of 2,500 cubic meters per hour, hepa filters and respiratory machines for high-frequency mechanical ventilation for newborns, worth a total of 60,000 euros.
EVN, as a company that performs public activities, has already undertaken a series of activities to ensure safe and stable electricity supply for all citizens. All users are directed to use the company's online services, and the company's activities are conducted in accordance with all recommendations for physical distance.
