EVN Macedonia is the winner of the philanthropy award "OKO"

EVN Macedonia is the winner of the philanthropy award "OKO" as the best in the category "Corporate philanthropy for large companies for 2019". The company competed in this category through its three projects: "EVN Volunteers", "Electromobility with EVN" and "Loud hands in EVN". Following the world trends, this company has been actively building charger infrastructure throughout the country for several years through the project "Electromobility with EVN", and with the implementation of the project "Loud hands in EVN" it strives to provide the highest level of service for citizens with hearing impairment. Using their interests, knowledge and wide range of skills, EVN employees worked to improve local communities as part of the ongoing “EVN Volunteers” corporate volunteering program.

The organizer of the event is the association "Horus", and this year the award ceremony took place in the premises of "M6 Educational Center" in Skopje. The purpose of the event is to stimulate the development of philanthropy in the country and to recognize companies, associations and foundations, citizens and the media that in the long run and strategically help and support the development of the community.

The OKO Philanthropy Awards are realized within the project SIGN Up for Impact (SUfI) implemented by the member organizations of SIGN - the regional network of local foundations from the Western Balkans, and funded by the European Union, the Balkan Fund for Democracy, the Balkan Development Network civil society and the Swedish International Development Agency.
